In La-La Land!!

Here is my very first card with an image from La-La Land Crafts. Check out their blog for some wonderful DT work HERE.

Isn't she wonderful? I was lucky enough to win here via some Bunny Zoe candy on Mina's blog. They are a really great size rubber stamp, I now have a wish list!!!

I have coloured her hair with Copics and the rest with Promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet and the sentiment is one of two that come with the Sweet Marci image. I am entering this into the following challenges

Something Different!!

Kraftin Kimmie's challenge this week is Clean and Simple. I don't really do CAS cards but decided to give it a go. It's quicker than the cards I usually do and I am really pleased with how it turned out. It is also a great way to use up scraps.

Meet Goldilocks. Isn't her hair just fabulous, I loved colouring it! The hair is coloured with Copics and the rest with Promarkers. The papers are MME and Prima and I doodled around the edge, inspired by cards done by my Facebook friend Deb

A little Sugar too late!

Apologies for the lack of blogging here lately but I have had the lurgy so no crafting has been done! I coloured this image up for the Sugar Bowl 100th challenge but am now too late to enter it :-( However I am now going to enter it into the 101st challenge which is Anything Goes...happy days!

A card at last

Been a while since I posted a card, apologies but I really don't know where the time goes some days. Anyway, here is a wee Saturated Canary image....just for a change! I do have lots of other companies images but there are so many of Krista's I haven't coloured yet and I am trying to get around to them.
They are all so gorgeous that I am sure you won't mind too much

I decided to use up some of my flower stash too. I see lots of cards in blogland with beautiful arrangements of flowers on them and I can never get mine to look like they do. Must get practising, I certainly have plenty flowers to get through. These are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The papers are Prima and the sentiment is Whimsy Stamps. I realise as I type this that I have forgotten to do any shading under the image, must rectify that later tonight.

Making pleats!!

I have been practising creating pleats after watching a speed colouring video by Alyce Keegan. you can see her blog HERE. Her colouring is just amazing. She uses Copics whereas I use Promarkers so I don't get the same flicks. I am quite happy with how it turned out but definitely need to practice some more.

The beautiful image is from Saturated Canary, the papers are MME and flowers from WOC. I added a littel sparkle to her hair with Stickles but you cannot see it in the photos.

A male card for a change!

BRRR!!! I wish the weather would make it's mind up. Yesterday morning I went to work in a blizzard wearing snowboots. By the time I finished work the snow had all but gone. This morning there was a white covering again but it didn't last long. Tis freezing here tonight, time for jammies and a nice cup of tea.

Birthday Sunday

My youngest son is 10 years old today!!!! Cannot believe how quickly time passes. He is delighted with his gifts and I have made him a giant cupcake for later

Frantic Friday!!

Today has been such a busy day, feels like I have been running about mad all day. However tonight I can relax with some friends over wine and good food so looking forward to that.
Rushing in at the last minute tonight with a card for the challenge over at Sugar Nellie to make a card using one of their fabulous new Vintage Adorable digital images.

Isn't she the cutest thing? These images are great for colouring as lots of the shading is done for you. Great if you are in a hurry like I was last night.

I love a Latte

I am not a huge coffee drinker at home, tea is my main vice....apart from white wine that is! However I do love a latte if out and about. This cute image is from Saturated Canary and is called "latte" and was a freebie from the lovely Krista recently. The Saturated Canary Challenge ~34 is Song Inspiration. My song is Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega. It starts with the girl waiting at the diner for the man to pour the coffee :-)

Yes I finally got to make a card on the last day of the year. Mid November since my last one so lets hope 2013 sees lots more time to craft!!

Deconstructed!!!!!!!!

Here is my latest card using yet another fabulous creation from Saturated Canary. I have quite a few new ones ready to colour, just need to find some "me time". Krista's images are just my all time favourites.

Anyway , the image is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I spend ages doing her hair but love how it turned out. The papers are Memory Box I think and the sentiment is Whimsy.
