TGIF!!!

Hurrah, no more work for 2 weeks and our school finished today for 6 weeks. Just hoping that the weather improves as I am not jetting off to sunnier climes unfortunately! Been up since 5.30a.m. as couldn't sleep. Here is the card I made this morning

The image is Whispy from Saturated Canary and I have coloured her with Pro and Flexmarkers. Papers are Teresa Collins and the sentiment is a Die-namics set. It is not quite in a straight line but I think it looks okay as it is handwriting type script. The flower is from Spellbinders Aster set with a pearl added in the centre. I used shimmer paint on her wings and added stickles to the frills of her skirt for extra sparkle

Saturated UK!!

Is it ever going to stop raining??????? Perfect excuse to get crafty though. This beauty is Canary Love from Saturated Canary. I just love her hair.

I have coloured her with Pro and Flexmarkers. The scrummy papers are Bo Bunny Gabrielle and the twine is from stash. I  haven't added a sentiment yet as haven't decided who I am sending this to.

Sugar Bowl time!!

How I love a Wednesday, it's my day off so one of my favourite days of the week. Managed to fit in a pedicure, lunch with hubby and a haircut so now it's time to do some ironing and mum's taxi duties. First I thought I'd share the card I made last night

Another card already??

Yes indeed I managed to assemble another card last night although I had coloured the image at the weekend. This beauty is Blanche from Saturated Canary

I have coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and have tried to leave the hair textured instead of blending the colours.I am a little scared of doing black hair but am quite pleased with how it turned out. The gorgeous papers are MME Lime Twist. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, sentiment is Whimsy Stamps  and the cardstock is SU!.

Just Redonkulous!!

Cannot believe that a whole week has passed without me posting a card. Here is a card made using another image from Redonkulous Designs. This is Goth Birthday

Isn't she great? She has been coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, the papers are DCWV and you will see from the annoying glare on the tartan paper that they are yummy embossed, glittered papers. The sentiment is SU!

DT time again

My how the weeks are flying past, cannot believe we are nearly at the end of May already. It's time to showcase another image from Redonkulous.

This cutie is Gift of Love and I have coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I have been experimenting with different colours for skin, hair and clothing - haven't made my mind up about them yet!

The papers are K & Co, found them buried in a drawer. Roses are Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is SU! I have distressed and inked all the edges with Vintage Photo

I so want to scrapbook more but the time always evades me and I never seem to have enough inspiration. Pinterest is a great place to look for ideas and here is what I found today

I should be at my local crop today but we bought a new caravan yesterday and need to go collect it after lunch. Hoping we get a good summer so we can enjoy it.

Don't faint! Two cards in two days....

I managed a card on my day off yesterday, YIPPEE!! This is for a friend who turns 40 this month.  Bit of a squint photo, apologies for that.  The image is another Saturated Canary one, I am addicted I think. The beautiful papers are new ones I got and I lurves them! Sentiment is Stampin' Up! and the image has been coloured with  Flexmarkers and Promarkers. First card this week!!

Why do I have to go to work? Why does the housework need to be done? These things stop me from having fun crafting, so not fair!
Anyway, I managed to squeeze in this card

My first WOW card

I always admire White on White cards but have never tried them myself. However I am really pleased with how this turned out. The only colour is the image and then I have inked the edges of everything with some pink.

Sugar Fix!!!

I was away for a few days in a caravan so got time to colour in. I forgot to take my trimmer with me though so had to wait until I got home to put the card together. I am loving these scrummy Bo Bunny papers. The image is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

My first post for Redonkulous

Ooooh I am a bit nervous. This is my first DT card for Redonkulous.  I have used the very cute babies and Butterflies. The image is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, the papers are Basic Grey Origins. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the scalloped border. Share it On A Sunday

Have you ever been on Pinterest? Be warned it is addicitve and will eat up your hours before you know it. It is choc full of inspiration though. Karen over at Sugar Nellie though it would be nice to share our favourite Pins on a Sunday.  I am going to be decorating my living room so have been browsing for ideas. Thee are so many beautiful rooms but this caught my eye today

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Flippin Heck!! Record temperatures last week and then this morning I opened my door to this!

It is still snowing on and off, hoping it magically disappears overnight. Perfect weather to stay in and craft though.

Exciting News!!

I have been chosen to be on the design team for Redonkulous Designs. Yep another card comes crawling along!!

I feel like I hardly ever have time to craft these days - perhaps less time in blogland and on Facebook might afford me a few more hours lol! I might have a wee break so if you don't see me commenting on your blogs for a week or so you will know that's what I am doing. Anyway, I coloured this beauty up over a week ago.
