Midnight Madness

This card is for my eldest son's guitar teacher. The stamp is from Inkadinkadoo and is stamped with Sepia Versafine and clear embossed. The image was then blended over with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The gorgeous papers are Rustic Gems by Diane's Daughters and they have all been distressed and inked at the edges. The black rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts and has been covered with Rhinestone Stickles. Finally the sketch is this week's Midnight Madness challenge.

Summertime sketch

The monthly challenge over at Whimsy is a summer theme. I have used the gorgeous Beach Baby Jayme by Crissy Armstrong. The sketch is this week's one from Friday Sketchers. The image is coloured with Promarkers and the papers are Basic Grey Boxer. The sentiment stamp is Stampin' up!. Flowers and button are from stash.
That's another two challenges off my list of things to do.
Thanks for stopping by

Nice & Girly in the Sugar Bowl

This card combines two challenges. The sketch is from the current Sugar Bowl challenge and is by the very talented Marlene. The image is one of the mangas by Sugar Nellie. Over at Bunny Zoe's new challenges the first challenge is "Nice & Girly". The image is coloured with Promarkers and I am definitely not liking this cardstock with these pens. It doesn't blend properly and there has been some bleeding. Don't look too closely :0)
The papers are MME La Paperie which I am loving just now. The raffia ribbon is from Bunny Zoe crafts and the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is a HOTP stamp and is stmaped in SU Pixie Pink.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really appreciate all your comments.

My favourite things

This was the challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week. The games console is one of my favourite things - not because I play it but because when my boys play it I get peace and quiet and the chance to indulge in crafty time!!! :0)
the image is Lili Of The Valley, isn't he cute. He is of course coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey, can't remember which collection offhand. Cardstock is SU.
The layout is from this week's Sketch and Stash challenge but I have rotated it to make the image fit.

LOTV challenge

I ordered my first LOTV stamps last week and today is the first chance I have had to ink any of them up. This week's LOTV challenge is a great sketch. I have coloured the image with my Derwent Inktense pencils. The papers are My Mind's Eye, La Paperie and I have distressed and inked all the edges. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Summertime with Mojo Monday

This card combines two challenges today. I have used the great sketch over at Mojo Monday and Karen's Doodles challenge last week was "Summertime" so I have used one of Karen's gorgeous images Girl with Butterfly. She is coloured with Promarkers and I have added some Stickles to the ruffles of her dress for a bit of sparkle. The papers are Basic Grey Sultry and the cardstock is SU. The close up pic looks a tad blurry, I defo need a new camera for my 40th lol!
Hope you like her and thanks for looking

Promarker Challenge take two!

Stooopid old me used the sketch for this week's challenge correctly but as well as the sketch the card was to have a "male" theme. My sweet little girl on her trike didn't really fit so I have made another card for the challenge using an image from the Boy oh Boy collection from Charmed Cards and Crafts. I remember having one of those space hoppers - long time ago when I was fit enough to bounce around on one!!
The papers are Basic Grey Ambrosia.

I do love my Promarkers!!!

This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers was a sketch. I have used the gorgeous Bye Bye image from Mo Manning for my card. The papers are My Mind's Eye, La Paperie. I just got a huge pad of these beautiful papers, thanks Rach for alerting me to them. Have yet to add a sentiment but will do that once I decide who to give the card to.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a had a nice Father's Day

More Midnight Madness

Thought I'd use this week's sketch to get a card made for Father's Day. I have used an image from Karen's Doodles. Looks just like my hubby, feet up and in charge of the remote!!
I have used Promarkers to colour the image- took me ages as I have been sneezing and sniffing since 4am. Hayfever I think but no tablets seem to be making a difference. Either that or I am allergic to the Raspberry Martinis I had last night (posh or what?)
The papers are Basic Grey and cardstock is from SU. This is the best I could do between sneezes.

Paper Romance meets Sketch Saturday

This card meets the Summertime theme of the Paper Romance challenge and follows this week's sketch over on Sketch Saturday. You will find links to both in my sidebar. The image was a freebie from Di's digital downloads(thanks Di)and is coloured with Promarkers. I am not happy with the colouring- there are parts where the paper has soaked up too much ink and not blended properly. I think I need to experiment with other paper so if you can recommend any please leave me a comment.
The papers are K & Co, cardstock from my SU stash.
Thanks for passing by and for any comments you may leave, I love reading them

Third post of the day

Another two challenges I have managed to get done, yippee!! The Karen's Doodles challenge this week here I have rotated the sketch to fit my image. The Girl with Apple image from Karen's Doodles is soooo cute. I coloured her with my Promarkers and have matted her on some Real Red cardstock from Stampin' Up!The papers are K & Co Amy Butler. I punched a couple of flowers from Real Red and some DP with my medium Retro Flowers punch and sat a wee white rose in the middle which I had inked up with some red chalk ink.The sentiment is a rub-on from Hot Of The Press and is rubbed onto one of their big brads. This card also qualifies for the Stamp Something challenge of creating a Happy Something card.
That is definitely me done for today but it's been great - wish every Sunday was like this.

House Mouse meets Friday Sketchers

Another card I got finished today covers the current House Mouse challenge of Sweet and uses the Sketch 106 from Friday Sketchers.I had to flip the sketch on it's side to fit my image. The Gruffies image is one I have had for ages but never used - he was forgotten about in the garage too :0(
I have coloured him with my Derwent Inktense pencils. The papers are from the basic Grey Bittersweet collection and the pearlescent cardstock is from stash. Sentiment is a HOTP stamp.
Wonder if I will finish any other cards tonight??? Must go and give it my best shot

One card, three challenges

This card is for my youngest son's teacher. He chose the image, by Mo Manning, as his teacher brings her laptop to school sometimes. She also has glasses and short hair he says. I pointed out she was wearing a dressing gown but he shrugged and said "It's Pyjama Day!". This image is called Laptop Lizzie, and is coloured with Promarkers. Mo's Digital challenge this week was to make an easel card. The sketch I used is from the Sketch and Stash Challenge.I am also entering the card in the Cupcake Craft challenge which is "Dazzle Us". I have blinged up the roses and patterned paper with Stickles and used plenty of Glimmer Dots, so hope it is sparkly enough, although I am not sure you can see it properly in the photos(click on them for a closer look). The cardstock and DP are Stampin' Up!, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and dots from stash.
Hope you like and thanks for visiting

Sugar Sugar

Yes, the Sugar Bowl is back and they have a great sketch together with the colour combo black, pink and white. I have coloured my Gorjuss image with Promarkers. The black cardstock is Core'dinations. I ripped the edges so you could see the pink and then sanded the main mat as well so a little of the pink shows through. Pink cardstock is Pink Passion from Stampin' Up! as is the sentiment stamp.

Bunny-Zoe Crafts new challenge blog

In The Pink

Pink Birthday is the challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week. I've used pink roses and embellies as well as papers with pink in them, I hope that is enough to qualify. This card also uses this week's sketch challenge over at Midnight Madness and meets Mo's Digital Pencil challenge of merging images. The images are both by Mo and I eventually managed to merge two of them. Sizing is a bit out I think so more practice required. The images are Jill and Toby Two and are coloured with Promarkers of course.I think Jill has had enough of Toby's tantrums don't you? Actually, I think she is in a huff at reaching a BIG birthday(like a friend of mine is soon lol!)
Papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet, a gorgeous collection of pinks and chocolates. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

A challenging Sunday!!!

I decided after making my way through the ironing that I would put a couple of cards together. The images I coloured during the week. My first card covers two challenges - the sketch is this week's Friday Sketchers and the Passion for Promarkers challenge was "books". The gorgeous image is Harvard by the uber talented Mo Manning. I have coloured him with my Promarkers and have tried some new colours and techniques for the skin tone following some tuts on the Passion for Promarkers blog. I wasn't too sure about it- what do you think? The papers are Basic Grey Lime Rickey. My eldest son wants this card for his teacher at the end of term, which is only a few weeks away in Scotland.

The second card is for Karen's Doodles challenge which is "distressed" this week. I have used "Tea with Grandma" and coloured the image with Promarkers before blending in some Distress Inks in Antique Linen and Tumbled Glass. All edges were distressed with my TH distressing tool and inked with a brown chalk ink pad.The paper flower was made with my medium Retro punch and the rose was distressed with the chalk ink as well. The papers are from a mixture of pads.
I hope you like my efforts and thank you for visiting. All comments are much appreciated.

Mo's Digital and Midnight Madness challenges

The challenge at Mo's this week is Babies & Ribbons. I combined this with the sketch over at Midnight Madness this week.
The image is by Mo, isn't she sweet? I coloured her with Promarkers and have added little glimmer dots to the dog's collar. I edge the image with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The card stock is from a pad I had in my stash and the ribbons were in a big box so have no idea of their origin. The flowers are Wild Orchid Craft roses and I have added Stickles to them.
