The Greeting Farm

Here are two cards I made for challenges over at Club Anya and Friends and the Greeting Farm. This first one follows a sketch at Club Anya. I have used Amy Butler papers from K & Co and some Bazzill cardstock in co-ordinating blue.

The second card is a Fresh Farm Friday challenge over at The Greeting Farm which again was a sketch. I have used a wonderful image that I was lucky enough to win recently and coloured it with Promarkers. I paper pieced the cap and shorts and the dress. All papers are from the Prima Paisley Road collection - I just love all the bright colours in it.Here is a wee close up

The button was from my stash and the sentiment is part of the same stamp set. It is called Sweet Tooth. As well as the FFF challenge I am entering this card into
Simon Says challenge - paper piecing
The Paper Players - anything goes
Bee Crafty - anything goes
Craft Emma - anything goes
Just Scraps - fussy cutting

Hope you like my cards and I would love it if you left a comment, they cheer me up no end

Daisy Doodles challenge time

Here is my DT card for this weeks' Daisy Doodles challenge which is anything goes. I have used Sissy and you can find her at the Daisy Doodles store. Even better news is that Miss Daisy is having a sale just now with 50% off everything in store. There is a gift certificate up for grabs for the lucky winner of the challenge so what are you waiting for.
I have coloured Sissy with Promarkers. The papers are MME La Paperie and they have been distressed and inked up with Distress Ink in Victorian Velvet.  The cardstock is Bazzill. The borders were done with a Martha Stewart punch. Flowers are Prima and the pearl brads in the centres have been in my stash for ages. The raffia was from Bunny Zoe crafts. The image is by the very talented Karen Johnson and is lightly coloured with Promarkers. I embossed some white card using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder to mat the image on. Both the mat and image were had the edges inked with a nude chalk ink. The flower, pin, pearls, bead and brad are Stampin' Up! as is the sentiment which has been cut out with my Nestabilities. I then added some more bling with Diamond Stickles around the bottom of the dress and in the flowers.

TGF 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop!!

Hey all! It's hard to believe that just TWO short years ago, Marie had a couple of 4x6 sets for sale, a brand new blog, and watched Pink Poison become The Greeting Farm. Two years later, after some big dreams realized (including their first trip to Anaheim for CHA!), after seeing some AMAZING designers work their magic for them, the Greeting Farm goes from strength to strength!

TWO YEARS and TWO BLOGS later, The Greeting Farm invites YOU to be a part of the celebration!
So tonight at 7pm the blog hop began. If you arrived here as part of the hop then welcome. If not you need to pop over to the TGF blog HERE to go to the start.
I hope you like the card I made for the hop. I adore The Greeting Farm stamps, just don't own enough of them....yet!! The gorgeous image is coloured with Promarkers and the equally gorgeous papers are Basic Grey Capella.Cardstock is Stampin'Up! The wonderful sketch if this weeks' one over at Mojo Monday.
