Gotta love a Bank Holiday!

Yes it has been lovely to have a day off work while my boys were in school and hubby was working. Had a massage this morning and then housework/reading/creating this afternoon....bliss. Why can't every Monday be like this?
Anyway, here is the card I made today.

I actually coloured the image yesterday. I spent ages on the hair but loved every minute. I decided that the card should be very CAS in order for the image to take centre stage. The colouring is with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The hair is all done with greys.

Saturday Sunshine!

Not another card already I hear you say? Yes I made time for some colouring this week but only managed a second card because I went for the CAS look.I have a few birthdays coming up so need to get some more cards made this weekend, CAS saves so much time I think it may become a regular feature.

The image is the gorgeous Neveah from Saturated canary. I spent ages colouring her as I was trying a new lighter blond combo for her hair but did not like the result so had to go over it all to darken it. I would love to have long flowing locks like this, just couldn't be bothered having a to do it all the time.

Sepia...and snow!!

What is going on with the weather? We have snow on the hills again and roads closed due to snow. It feels like February outside today, not the end of May. I wish Summer would hurry up.
I recently took part in a challenge to colour an image in sepia tones. Here is the card I made with the image

She is from Saturated Canary, I thought she looked quite haunting this colour.

Not too shabby!!

 Hurrah I managed a card this week!!

I have used Party Hardy from Saturated Canary, coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, except for the hair which was done with Copics. Papers are MME, lace is WOC and the embellishments are from Make It Crafty. Everything has been edged with Vintage Photo and I added Stickles to the butterfly.

Flower Power

I am never sure of doing these floral arrangements on my cards, haven't quite mastered them.

Apologies for the poor picture, could not get the lighting quite right - perhaps something to do with the dreadful weather, it has been pouring down all day and is a miserable 5C outside.BRR!! The image is from Saturated Canary and is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The papers are MME and the flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is Stampin' up!
