Thanks
A friend asked me to make her some Thank You cards so she had a supply at home. I have put two examples on here. The images are from Joanna Sheen's Animal Antics CD- how cute!
New police recruit.
A friends sister has just been accepted for the police force. She wanted a card to give her that had something to do with the police on it. I found this image on Google and used some paper from a Papermania 6x6 pad. Hope she likes it!

In the Mood for Love
After doing the Sunday Stampers challenge I decided to make a few more cards along the "love" theme. I used my free Craft Stamper stamp and some Paper Artsy ones together with some Bazzill cardstock and various papers. Feeling nice and calm now after making them, I do love my days off :0)

Sunday Stamper's Challenge
I decided to join in the above challenge and the theme for this week was "Love" You could make a tag, card or ATC so I opted for a card. I used my new Paper Artsy stamps. The images are stamped in Blazing Red Staz-on and I have then blended some Vermillon Laquer ink over the cardstock to tint it slightly. The main stamped image is mounted on some Bazzill cardstock. I tinted the card with the Vermillon Lacquer ink and then mounted the Bazzill mat onto it. The hearts are placed on 3D foam in a random way.
Hope it's okay :0)

Tim style page
Here is another fat page for the Tim Holtz Stamp list that I am on. I dabbed Distress inks in Walnut Stain and Scattered Straw onto a craft mat and spritzed it with water. Then I laid the mountboard on top and swirled it around in the ink. I then pressed the Walnut Stain on the mat again and pressed areas of mountboard onto it to get random dots of colour. Finally I stamped the image in Black Soot Distress Ink. Was very happy with the result, I am loving this distressed malarkey and of course all things Tim :0)
Gift for a horse lover
A friend of mine has a birthday soon. I decided to make her a clock after seeing the ones my friend Lydia made(link to her blog is below). The images are taken from Joanna Sheen disc Animal Antics. I made her a matching birthday card as well. Hope she likes them :0)

Wedding anniversary cards
Hubby and I are going to a Ruby Wedding celebration on Saturday night. After I made my Study in Scarlet fat page I decided it would make a good topper for an anniversary card. I was also asked to make a card for a Diamond Wedding so again used the same theme.
For the Ruby one I used a red inkpad to colour a piece of mountboard and the card. For the Diamond one I used a background paper from a Joanna Sheen disc to cover the mountboard and one of my new Paperartsy stamps to do a background on the card. I hope the recipients like the outome.

A Study in Scarlet
This fortnight's Fat Book challenge on Craft Swap Forum was to do a page in the above theme. I used the free stamp from this months issue of Craft Stamper, a Nick Bantock inkpad and some gems. I got in a very inky mess and now have very red fingers :0)

A little notebook
I made this based on a project in this months Craft Stamper for the Bind-it-All. I used mountboard for the base and covers and lightweight card for the pages. The stamps are by Hot Off the Press and I used Shabby Shutters distress ink pad and Nick Bantock ink pads in Vermillion Red and Lamp Black. I am really pleased with the result :0) Think I will make some more as gifts. Not sure what order the pics will upload in but I think you will get the general idea

Birthday cards for boys
Someone in work asked me to make two cards. One for a boy who is football mad and another for a four-year old. The 4 yr old loves pink and girly things but his mum is trying to encourage him to like "boy stuff". The papers are by K & Co

I am on a Tim Holtz stamped Fat Book list with the Craft Swap Forum. Here are a couple of pages I have made for it. I used Distress Ink Pads and Tim Holtz unmounted stamps from Stampers Anonymous. The inks are blended over the cardstock using a wet babywipe. The first page used Milled Lavender & Dusty Concord, the second Shabby Shutters & Pine Needles.I also highlighted sections with Glossy Accents.I have lovely inky fingers now :0)
ATC Challenge
This weeks challenge on Craft Swap Forum was to make an ATC using soemthing you bought in the January sales- you must also recycle something. I have therefore used some papers/embellishments I got form the Scrapbook Shop sale and have recycled my receipt from the purchase which I tinted with Old Paper Distress Ink.

Stampboard
I decide to attempt using some of the Stampboard I bought at the NEC in November. I have never used it on cards before. I inked up the Stampboard with Distress Inks in Shabby Shutters and Pine Needles blended together, then stamped the image( by Tim Holtz) in Pine Needles. I used Basic Grey periphery papers for the card itself and glued the stampboard in place. I hope the recipients like the cards when they arrive :0)
Scrapbook Challenge
Yet another challenge on Craft Swap Forum. I am a novice scrapbooker so I thought taking part in the challenge would help give me inspiration. The theme was "presents" and I used paper and embellishments from a Brenda Pinnick kit I bought toward the end of last year. My boys thought Santa was bringing them a Nintendo DS to share so were overjoyed when they got one each. Also, it was my little nephew's first Christmas and he was mesmerised by all the pressies.

Fat Book Challenge
I had to create a fat page along the theme of "Flowers" for the challenge on Craft Swap Forum. I used a piece of mountboard and blended Adirondack inks pads in Lettuce and Denim onto it. I then spritzed this with water. I stamped the flower, which is by Dawn Bibby, in Denim and used Perfect Pearls to paint the image and edge the mountboard. Finally I mixed some gold Perfect Pearls with water in a Mini-mister and lightly spritzed this over the page to give it a nice shimmer.
ATC challenge
another challenge from Craft Swap Froum was to make an ATC -the theme was "love is..." and you were to only use one colour. I used a red Nick bantock inkpad to colour the piece fo mountboard and then used a wet babywipe to tint a lighter shade of the same ink over the image which I got from Google Images.
