I was at a local crop on Sunday and managed a scrapbook page for the first time in what seems like ages. These pictures of my boys were taken on our holidays in August, wish the weather was like that now.The patterned paper is Rustic Gems by Diane's Daughters and I cut it into the scallop shape. The letter, ribbon and chipboard shape are all from a kit I got from QVC about two years ago. I really must get some more scrapping done as I have a ton of photos to get through.
I also managed to colour some images.
This one is from Kenny K, isn't she fabulous? I won her in a recent challenge. She has been coloured with Promarkers. The DP is Memory Box Glitterati and the matting is all Stampin' UP! cardstock. The flowers were made with my medium retro flower punch and some gems from my stash. I am entering this card into the following challenges

Kenny K meets Simons Say Stamp
I just love this image from Kenny K and she was a joy to colour. I used different Promarker colours to my usual Blush and Sunkissed Pink. I was checking out Bev's blog the other day and she uses an Oatmeal, Apricot and Coral combo. I was pleased with the result, she looks more tanned than pale and interesting so thanks Bev!
The papers are from the Olivia collection by Basic Grey, flowers are Prima and the brads are from stash. The cardstock was trimmed with decorative scissors which I had forgotten I had. I used a piercing tool all around the image and then did faux stitching with a Sakura Glitter gel pen. The little gems were from a Kanban kit I got many moons ago from QVC.
This card is entered, as the title of the post suggests, in to the following challenges
http://kennykkraftygirlzchallenges.blogspot.com/ - stitch it
http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ - sketch
thanks for visiting today. I made this card last night and have had no crafty time today as I was working. Going to a crop tomorrow though so that will make up for it. Have a good Saturday night

Beatrix Potter Winter collection
Crafters Companion have just launched A Winter's Tale collection of their Beatrix Potter range. Alongside the launch they are running a challenge to make a card using the new images. Their monthly challenge is a sketch so I have combined both challenges with this card. The papers and image are free downloads from Crafter's Companion. I have used Taken with Teal cardstock from Stampin' Up! for matting and lots of Diamond Stickles for bling which doesn't really stand out in the picture. The gems are from Kanban.
Details of both challenges are HERE

I am late with this card. The image was a free one given out by

The image is coloured with Promarkers and matted on some silver cardstock which has been cut out with Nesties. The papers are Memory Box Glitterati and a strip of MME( the blue). The ribbon and sentiment are SU! and the gems were in my stash.
I am entering this in
Midnight Madness - #72
AI Factory - anything goes
Charisma Cardz - anything goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty - anything baby
Craft Emma - baby bonanza
Here is the fab storage my clever hubby rustled up yesterday. He used MDF and I painted it with Adirondack Dabbers in Raspberry and Espresso. It is stored on it's side but is flat down in the piccie- you still get the idea. Cost the grand total of £6.80 :0)
thanks for visiting and for any comments you may leave, they are soooo appreciated.

I have used one of the Gorjuss images from Sugar Nellie. The papers are Memory Box Glitterati and the gems are from stash.
I haven't added a sentiment as yet, will wait and see who I send the card to.

Other than that, you have free licence to see what you can come up with.
We would just need a pic of the final result (Jules will make up all badges needed using the winners idea as a template to work from)

Sugarbowl time!!
It seems like ages since I played in The Sugarbowl. Another great sketch this week and the added option of pearls. I have rotated the sketch to fit my Gorjuss image. I tried out a new way of colouring the hair after watching a Copic Tutorial by Susanna over at Scrap Bitz. I haven't suddenly acquired Copics, just thought I could apply the same principles to my Promarkers. What do you think??? A bit more practice required methinks!
The gorgeous papers are Basic Grey Olivia and the pearls were added with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Silver. I haven't added a sentiment yet as I am waiting to see who I decide to send it to.
Hope you like and I would love it if you come back soon
