Crafty Sentiment Designs are having a sale!!

Loving this image from Aurora Wings. I am doing a class on Skin and Hair colouring and this is the first image I have done trying to put what I have learned so far into practice. I am pleased with how it turned out.  Decided to keep the rest of the card simple to show the image off to full effect.

I have used Molly - Sunflowers. She is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The gorgeous papers are from Basic Grey. All papers and cardstock have been edged with Distress Ink.

Got some time yesterday to make a card!!

I had coloured the image the weekend before but hadn't had time to put it all together. I am in love with this image from Aurora Wings. It is also the first time I have attempted the ocean background technique and was rather pleased with how it turned out.

A Closer look shows the rays through the ocean slightly better

Needs a bit more work but not bad for a first attempt.
