Happy Saturday!!

I hope you are all having a lovely Saturday. I was at a McMillan Coffee Morning this morning so am full of cake and coffee. Don't think I'll be eating dinner any time soon!! Also managed to win a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates in the raffle, what a nice early birthday present :-)

Something Different.

Not my usual sort of card, there is not a coloured image in sight.

I really love Sue Wilson's cards on Create and Craft with Spellbinders. I am planning to start making more of this style of card - apart from anything else it is much quicker than having to colour an image.It's also the first time I have gone large and done an 8 x 8.  Maybe I'll manage to produce more than one card a fortnight if I do more of these!

These lattice dies were designed by Sue Wilson for Spellbinders. The sentiment is Stampin' Up! as is the cardstock.

Another Beautiful Fairy

Yes another of Krista's gorgeous creations from Saturated Canary

 I have coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, the papers are Bo bunny and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is Whimsy stamps.The shadows make it look as if the image is lifting off the card but it isn't, just dodgy photography on my part!

Another week goes by

I cannot believe today is the 1st of August!! Also can't believe that almost 5 weeks of my children's school holidays have flown by. Where is the year going? As it is going by so fast there seems to be very little time at present to squeeze in a card but here is one at long last.

Well I best go and get on with my other project, I am learning to crochet. here's a wee peek at my first squares. Youngest son chose the colours. The more I look at crochet sites, the more I want to learn/make...where will I find the time to fit it all in though?

 The rain has been chucking it down all day and my eldest is off camping....guess I'll have lots of muddy washing on Sunday!

Here is my latest offering. This image was coloured before my holidays but I only managed to assemble the card now. The prolonged Summer weather has meant no colouring for me as I have been outdoors making the most of the sunshine.

Happy 60th to my mammy!!

My mum is 60 today....many happy returns to her. We had a party for her last night and it was great.

I made her cake, my first big cake and I can feel another addiction starting :-)

Apologies

Sorry there have been no posts from me but I have been on my holidays. Hubster has work so he is home but we are off again to the caravan tomorrow. You cannot beat Scotland when you get the weather. Here is the view taken from the campsite
