A Card For Jayme
Lisa is a member of Mo's Digital pencil challenge blog DT. Sadly her sister has terminal cancer and does not have long left. Lisa is holding a RAK event and has asked people to make cards to make her sister smile. You can see details here Jayme loves frogs so Lisa requested frogs on the card and artist Crissy Armstrong designed this wonderful frog image especially for Jayme.
Colouring is with Promarkers and the papers are Basic Grey but the collection escapes me for now. Gems are from stash and the roses are from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts - my first order arrived the other day and it was fab!

House Mouse challenge
House Mouse challenge blog are having their first blog hop here. The challenge was to make a Goodbye/Farewell card. I have used one of the Gruffies stamps that I got ages ago but hardly ever used. I found it out in the garage after much searching!! I have used Promarkers to colour the image and then blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around it. Papers are Basic Grey Boxer. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!
Thanks for passing by

Yee-haa, 2 more challenges
I am really enjoying getting back into challenges and am loving all the new digi images I've discovered. This card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch challenge. The image is by Karen Johnson - isn't it adorable? I have used Promarkers to colour the image and the papers are by Colorbok. The pad says Flavia, Mint and Moonlight and was a pressie from my friend Andrea.
This card is for the Stamp Something Challenge which I came across the other day. You had to use "two of something" so I have used two different papers. The image is from Charmed Cards & Crafts Boy Oh Boy collection. He has been coloured with Promarkers and I have tried to do a dotty background following a tutorial by Crissy Armstrong(link to her blog in my fave places). Not too sure about it, think I need more practice? The papers are MME Wild Asparagus.Getting more used to shading with my Promarkers which is just as well as hubby wouldn't be very happy if I said I wanted Copics instead lol!
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your comments.

Karen's Doodles UK Challenge
Thanks to my friend Tina I have been introduced to the wonderful images by Karen Johnson. You can find them here
There is also a challenge blog for the UK and the current challenge is to create a masculine card. I have used papers from Basic Grey Boxer collection. The image has been coloured with Promarkers. No flowers of course as they are hardly masculine so I decided to avoid embellies altogether and just keep it plain and simple. No sentiment added yet until I decide who is getting the card.
Thanks for visiting and to those of you who are leaving lovely comments. I really appreciate them

The Sugar Bowl challenge strikes again.
I always love playing in the Sugar Bowl. The sketches are always fab and there is always an added element. This week was "recycling"
I have used one of the Sugar Nellie Manga images, coloured with my trusty Promarkers. I am gonna check out some videos to learn how to colour properly with them lol!
The papers are Basic Grey Porcelain and the recycled element was the doily. It is difficult to see the different layers in the piccie, think I may go back and ink a few edges. Click on the image for a closer look
thanks for visiting and for any comments

The image is by Crissy Armstrong and I bought it from Squigglefly. Coloured with Promarkers and the papers are MME Wild Asparagus. I used my Martha Stewart punch for the edges and my retro flower punches for the flowers. The cardstock and flower are from stash.
