Fresh Brewed 2 week challenge

Well the snow is forecast to return tomorrow BRRRR!!!! Managed to get my shopping finished today just in case we get snowed in.
To celebrate this wintry wonderful season we are challenging you to create something by theme.

The theme is:

Merry Christmas

 The challenge will last for two weeks. That gives you (and me) time to get last minute card making, shopping, relaxing and posting done!

 I made my card using the Snowman with Kitten image. The papers are Papermania and I used lots of Crystal Stickles for sparkle.

Fresh Brewed Challenge #26

This week's theme is Sparkle and Shine. I have used Angel Cakes and Mr Snowman and you can find her over at the Fresh Brewed stor HERE . Pop over to the  challenge blog  and see what my fellow DT members produced for your inspiration. Here's my card

The image is coloured with Promarkers and the papers are from papermania. I hope you can see all the sparkle. This was done using Stampin' Up! Heat and Stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. The snowflakes are a Marianne die set. The layout was last week's Simon Says challenge but I didn't upload it in time to enter the challenge(doh!) All the papers were distressed around the edges to look a wee bit "snowy". Here's a closer look so I really hope the sparkle comes through in this one.

Fresh Brewed Challenge #25

Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Challenge!!!


the challenge this week is to create a card using

I coloured Emma with Cupcakes using Promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey, cardstock is SU! Lace and bling are from my stash and the sentiment is also SU!

Fresh Brewed Challenge!

Our challenge over at Fresh Brewed Designs  this week is Winter/Christmas Theme. I have used teh very cute Whistlin' Snow for my card and you can purchase him and lots of other great images HERE
The image is coloured with Promarkers and then I have added some Stickles to his hat and the "whistle".
I have used Papermania papers and some cardstock from SU! The sentiment is a Stamps Away stamp and I have added lots of sparkle with Diamond Stickles all around the edges and some gems from my stash.

Daisy Doodles Challenge #22

It's time for a new Daisy Doodles Challenge!!  This  challenge is "Anything Goes".   For this challenge you can do whatever your heart desires as long as you use a Daisy Doodles or a Pixie Cottage image.  The Pixie Cottage  is sponsoring us this time and Michelle has very kindly offered up a $10 gift certificate to  the winner.  You must go see all the goodies she has to offer HERE

My card uses the Tropicana image which you can purchased  HERE


I have coloured the image with Promarkers and then used a Sakura clear glaze pen over the glass. The sentiment is also from Daisy Doodles. Papers are Memory Box and they have all been inked around the edges. I have followed the Friday Sketchers layout but had to substitute the circle for a rectangle to fit in the image.

Three posts in one day....WOW!

SCROLL DOWN FOR FRESH BREWED CHALLENGE AND LOTV CARDS


The layout for this card is from this week's Midnight Madness challenge but I have turned it on it's side to fit the image. The DP is Laura Ashley and the ribbon is Old Olive grosgrain from Stampin' Up! The delightful image is from Daisy Doodles . I have coloured the image with Promarkers and matted it on some Old Olive cardstock. The sentiment is Stampin Up!

Good News!!

I have been accepted as a member of the Design Team for
Fresh Brewed Designs!!!! I would like to thank Heather for giving me the opportunity to work with her team.

I have coloured him with Promarkers and the DP is K & Co Itsy Bitsy. The sketch was last week's Papertake Weekly so I am too late to enter that challenge.

Daisy Doodles Christmas Raffle!!

DAISY DOODLES IS HAVING A RAFFLE


This is how it will work:

Every time someone buys anything in the store, they will be given a raffle ticket.If you buy a set then you will get 2 tickets.

Then starting on 10th November, everyday a ticket is chosen and the winner gets a stamp from the store.

Then on 23rd Nov, will be the main prize...the 12 days and a $10 GC.

Each day that a ticket is chosen that raffle ticket will go back in the hat. So the buyers will have more than one chance to win each day. AND they will have a chance at the big prize at the end of the raffle on November 23rd.

My first Step Card

I have never attempted this type of card before but it is much easier than I thought. The images are both digital, the princess is Belle from Sweet and Sassy and the cute bat is Marvin from The Stampin Bazaar. Both are coloured with Promarkers and the cardstock is Stampin' up as is the sentiment. I am entering this into the following challenges

This was for a gorgeous little girl I know who is a princess but cheeky with it, I thought the images suited her pefectly.

Daisy Doodles DT card from an old yin!!

Here is a wee card I threw together last night using one of the images from Flash Bang set which is available to purchase HERE
The image is coloured using Promarkers in various yellow shades. The gorgeous papers were in a wee 6x6 pack I picked up last week. They are absolutely gorgeous, so shimmery so I must contact the shop and find out what make they are- I need MORE! The tag was cut by hand and the sentiment is Stampin' Up!


 Maybe I should send this to myself in celebration of my coming of age! Well they do say life begins at 40!!! I have had a fabulous day, been spoiled rotten with lots of gorgeous cards and gifts and lunch with my mum and sister.  Hubby just poured me a large glass of wine....CHILLTIME!!!!!!!

Daisy Doodles Challenge #19

This weeks challenge over at Daisy Doodles Challenge Blog is Masculine with Leaves. I have used one of the images from the gorgeous Leaves collection which you can find HERE along with lots of other fun images and bargains galore.
The background papers are also available at Daisy Doodles and the collection contains beautiful Autumnal colours.
Now for the rules:
We want to see projects for the Men with an "Autumn" theme. This can be anything to do with the Fall Season as long as it is masculine
You must use a Digital Stamp. It doesn't have to be a Daisy Doodles Stamp but if it is you will get entered into the challenge 2X. There is a whole section of Daisy Doodles Stamps for $1.00 at the STORE. The winner will receive a $5.00 gift Certificate to Daisy's Digi Doodles.

It's Daisy Doodles Challenge time

This weeks challenge is "Critters" so you must use animals or bugs of some sort on your card. I have used the adorable Wrinkles on my card and you can buy him over at the Daisy Doodles shop. While you are there check out the fab $1 section and bag a bargain!!The winner of this challegne will get a $5 gift certificate.
Wrinkles had been coloured with Promarkers and all the cardstock is Stampin' Up! Earth Elements collection. I chalked around the edges of the image and cardstock with SU chalks for definition. The flower is made from SU papers punched out using the Scalloped Circle punch and secured in the centre with a brad.

Challenges and more over at Daisy Doodles

We have a new challenge for you over at Daisy Doodles of "Keep it Simple with ONE embellishment". I have used Sissy for my card, simply matted on a Kraft card blank. The imgae is coloured with Promarkers and the ribbon is by Stampin' Up!

We have had an idea that we are hoping everyone will get involved in.
We like to keep things fresh and now it's time for a change, we need new badges!
Do you think you can help us?

Here's what you would need to do.
Design a badge that you think would fit in with the Daisy Doodles theme.
It can be drawn, made up as a card, made digitally, however is easiest for you.

It would need to be light and fresh looking (no Dark colours) and of course have a daisy in there somewhere!
Other than that, you have free licence to see what you can come up with.
We would just need a pic of the final result (Jules will make up all badges needed using the winners idea as a template to work from)
The winner will be picked from all entries by the whole team.

The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the store AND 2 pairs of Fiskars hand punches,
these have a retail value of £16/$25!!!!

Daisy Doodles challenge time

Here is my DT card for this weeks' Daisy Doodles challenge which is anything goes. I have used Sissy and you can find her at the Daisy Doodles store. Even better news is that Miss Daisy is having a sale just now with 50% off everything in store. There is a gift certificate up for grabs for the lucky winner of the challenge so what are you waiting for.
 I have coloured Sissy with Promarkers. The papers are MME La Paperie and they have been distressed and inked up with Distress Ink in Victorian Velvet.  The cardstock is Bazzill. The borders were done with a Martha Stewart punch. Flowers are Prima and the pearl brads in the centres have been in my stash for ages. The raffia was from Bunny Zoe crafts. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! and I have cut it out with Nestabilities and blended Victorian Velvet around it with some Cut N Dry foam.
