When I saw the tissue box tutorial on Split Coast Stampers I could not wait to try it. Friends of mine were making these ages ago but I never got around to it. You can make them with mountboard, cardstock or heavyweight patterned paper.
I have used cardstock from Stampin' Up! and embossed the panels with a Cuttlebug folder, the name of which escapes me at the moment. If you want to know though, just e-mail me or ask when leaving a comment and I can get back to you. The beautiful image is Verity from the Simply Adorables range at Sugar Nellie. These images are such a joy to colour and there are more out soon - I can't wait! Here's a clsoer look at her
I was making this as a gift for someone but have decided to keep it for myself and make some more to give away.
I am entering this into the following challenges
Simon Says Stamp - anything but a card
A Spoonful of Sugar - anything but a card
Digital Tuesday - use a die-cut (Nesties used for opening at top of box)
Craft Your Passion - Pink
OSAAT- make it pretty (if this doesn't make a tissue box pretty then what will lol!)
thanks for visiting my little blog today and many thanks for any comments you may leave
