Snowy Saturday
Yes, I woke up to a fair bit of snow this morning. Took me ages to clear it all of the car before going to work!. Would much rather have stayed at home crafting.
I made this card last night. The Magnolia image and sentiment a friend stamped for me about 18 months ago and never got round to using. Tilda has been coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet and the pearlescent cardstock is from a pile of assorted colours I have in my stash.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Craft your Days Away - anything goes
Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge - anything goes
Cute Card Thursday - use old stash
Sketch & Stash - #52
Thank you for visiting, I hope you have a good weekend and if you have the snow, stay warm indoors x

Magnolia Time
I was just itching to ink up this fabulous Ballerina Tilda that I was lucky enough to win from Bev's blog I coloured with Promarkers and added some Stickles to her tiara for a bit of sparkle. The papers are MME La Paperie and the cardstock is Stampin' Up!. The sentiment is also Stampin' Up! and I inked around the edges of it with some Blush chalk ink. The floral ribbon trim and rose are from my stash.
Staying with the Tilda theme I made a co-ordinating bookmark. I used a different stamp but the same papers and trim. The sentiment is another from SU! These items are entered in the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - Let's get Sentimental
Pixie Cottage #32 - Sketch and/or anything but a card.
That's all the crafty time I'll manage today, back to work tomorrow.
Thank you for coming to visit and for any comments you may leave

A little vintage

This card is to be entered into three challenges. I have gone for a sepia tone on Tilda, following a fab tutorial over on Passion for Promarkers. I didn't have all the brown tones used in the tut but I think it turned out okay. The papers are from my current fave pad MME La Paperie. I inked around all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.The ribbon and cardstock are from stash. The sentiment is a HOTP stamp. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Just Magnolia - Monthly Challenge

This month's challenge is distressing. I have used another Tilda image stamped while visiting Andrea and coloured her with Promarkers. The papers are MME Bloom & Grow as are the buttons. Raffia ribbon is from Bunny-Zoe crafts. All papers were distressed around the edges with my scissors then inked up with a green chalk ink.

Hurrah, I managed to make a card. This week's challenge from Just Magnolia is "Bright & Zingy" so I have used papers from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection. Tilda is coloured with Promarkers and the gems were from my stash. I have followed Sketch Saturday's sketch apart from the sentiment which I have yet to add.

Just Magnolia Challenge 2
This weeks challenge was to use the colour combo Pink & Green. As these are two of my favourite colours I just had to join in.Managed to get the card done before all the family were struck down by a sickness bug. Recovering now but will keep the post sort & sweet. The papers are from K & Co McKenna collection and the Tilda image has been watercoloured. I have added a few Zoomz from my stash as well.
Thanks for looking.

Just Magnolia First Challenge
Just Magnolia is a new challenge sit which launched last Friday. The DT are such a talented bunch and I just adore their projects. The challenge was a sketch and what a fab sketch it was. I had to rotate it to fit the image but I think it works. The gorgeous papers are from Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. I coloured Tilda with my Derwent Inktense pencils and matted her on some of the DP as well, leaving a tiny border. I attached Tilda to the card using foam pads. The sentiment is a HOTP stamp and the flowers and gems are from my stash. There is a fabulous prize up for grabs to celebrate the launch of Just Magnolia, go check it out, the link is in my sidebar.
I have made some tags for a swap I am involved in. Here is one of them. I inked up the tag with Tattered Rose Distress Ink and then stamps a swirly Tim Holtz background in Worn Lipstick. The Gorjuss image was stamped and watercoloured, cut out and adhered to the tag. The butterfly charm was from the lovely Jill at Hobby House and the flower, brad and ribbon are from my stash. I also added Glossy Accents to the little clip in her hair but I doubt you will be able to see that.
Thanks for stopping by
