I am hoping that I will have time to do some crafting in between cooking and cleaning today but you never can tell. This card was rustled up very quickly last night using a gorgeous Paper Bag Studios image that a friend sent me. Isn't she adorable?
The paper is Basic Grey Kioshi and the cardstock is Stampin' Up! as is the sentiment. I coloured the image with Promarkers and then blended Antique Linen Distress Ink around it.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Sketch & Stash - #51
Fab n Funky - quick and easy does it

Wishing all my followers and visitors a happy and healthy 2011.

Fresh Brewed Challenge 28
Well we only have a few more days of 2010 to go and then we will be counting down to a New Year. Our boys will be staying up this year with us. I think last year we were all in bed as we got snowed in!!
With the new Year in mind the theme for this challenge is "Celebration". For my card I have used Gracie with Fireworks. There will be fireworks at the party we are going to but I'm sure we will be dressed a tad more warmly than Gracie is. She must be in Oz or somewhere!
The image was coloured with Promarkers and the DP is Basic grey Kioshi which has been inked around the edges with a gold chalk ink. Pop over the to the Fresh Brewed Blog and check out what my fellow teamies came up with. You can shop for Fresh Brewed images HERE.
Come and celebrate with us~ just create a new celebration themed
card and add your direct link to the inlinkz below
As always, you do not have to use a Fresh Brewed Designs image to play along, but if you have them, we would love to see them!!!
I am entering my card into the following challenges
Friday Sketchers - #134
Simon Says Stamp - time to party/celebrate
Anything Goes - the letter C (celebrate)
Paper Playtime - New Year
Woodware USA - anything goes
If I don't post before Hogmanay, I wish you all a Happy New Year.

Whiff of Joy challenge
It seems like ages since I entered this challenge and to be honest I think I had forgotten about my WoJ stamps stuck out in the garage in the cold....what a crime! I just love this Oakley image and had great fun colouring him and adding Glossy Accents to the water.
The papers are Basic Grey and the cardstock is SU. I have followed the sketch from the WoJ challenge this week. The stars are Grungeboard shapes, coloured with Promarkers. I punched the borders with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment has been left off just now as I couldn't decide which type of card this would be. I'll add it when I decide who to send it to.
I am entering this into the following
There She Goes - Cards for Kids
Woodware USA - anything goes
Paper Play - stars
Whiff Of Joy - sketch

LOTV challenge
THIS IS MY SECOND POST TODAY, SCROLL DOWN FOR FRESH BREWED CHALLENGE
I was lucky enough to win this cute image as part of a blog candy so decided to ink it up and take part in this week's challenge over at LOTV. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and the papers are Papermania Honey & Hugs. I have blended Spun Sugar Distress Ink around all the edges. I have stitched round all the panels, don't look too close as the stitching is a little wonky lol!
The image was then cut out using Nesties and matted onto some silver mirri card.
The sketch was from a Stampin 4 the weekend but their challenge wanted you to use the sketch and have a butterfly on your creation. I can't see a butterfly fitting this card somehow so can't enter their challenge :0(
I am entering it into the following
LOTV - anything goes
The Crafty Pad - Christmas Sparkle
2 sisters - Christmas
No Time To Stamp - Christmas in non traditional colours
Crazy 4 Challenges - Christmas
I hope you like and thanks for stopping by. Last few days to enter my candy.

DAISY DOODLES IS HAVING A RAFFLE
This is how it will work:
Every time someone buys anything in the store, they will be given a raffle ticket. If you buy a set then you will get 2 tickets.
Then starting on 10th November, everyday a ticket is chosen and the winner gets a stamp from the store.
Then on 23rd Nov, will be the main prize...the 12 days and a $10 GC.
Each day that a ticket is chosen that raffle ticket will go back in the hat. So the buyers will have more than one chance to win each day. AND they will have a chance at the big prize at the end of the raffle on November 23rd.
What do you win? This entire set could be yours.

Looking forward to X-Factor results tonight. Wagner had better go!!!!!!

Whimsy Fan Favourites Week
Whimsy Stamps are celebrating their 2 year anniversary this month. They are asking fans of Whimsy to submit a creation this week as part of the celebrations ans tell them what they love about Whimsy. I love the variety of images they offer from a number of very talented artists. Crissy Armstrong is one of my favourites and this gorgeous Gracie with Roses image is by her. I have coloured the image with Promarkers. The DP is My Mind's Eye, La Paperie and the sentiment is SU! Apologies for the poor photo, I left it too late to get any decent light.
I am entering the card into the following
Whimsy Fan Favourites
Stamp Something - pink
Fresh Brewed - anything goes
Lexi's Creations - Anything goes
Mojo Monday - sketch
Thanks for visiting me today and I hope you will return soon
