I hae coloured her with Copics and Promarkers. The papers are DCWV and the lace and pearls from stash. I will add a sentiment later once I know who I am sending it to.

TGIF!!!

Hurrah, no more work for 2 weeks and our school finished today for 6 weeks. Just hoping that the weather improves as I am not jetting off to sunnier climes unfortunately! Been up since 5.30a.m. as couldn't sleep. Here is the card I made this morning

The image is Whispy from Saturated Canary and I have coloured her with Pro and Flexmarkers. Papers are Teresa Collins and the sentiment is a Die-namics set. It is not quite in a straight line but I think it looks okay as it is handwriting type script. The flower is from Spellbinders Aster set with a pearl added in the centre. I used shimmer paint on her wings and added stickles to the frills of her skirt for extra sparkle

Saturated UK!!

Is it ever going to stop raining??????? Perfect excuse to get crafty though. This beauty is Canary Love from Saturated Canary. I just love her hair.

I have coloured her with Pro and Flexmarkers. The scrummy papers are Bo Bunny Gabrielle and the twine is from stash. I  haven't added a sentiment yet as haven't decided who I am sending this to.

How I love a Wednesday, it's my day off so one of my favourite days of the week. Managed to fit in a pedicure, lunch with hubby and a haircut so now it's time to do some ironing and mum's taxi duties. First I thought I'd share the card I made last night

Another card already??

Yes indeed I managed to assemble another card last night although I had coloured the image at the weekend. This beauty is Blanche from Saturated Canary

I have coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and have tried to leave the hair textured instead of blending the colours.I am a little scared of doing black hair but am quite pleased with how it turned out. The gorgeous papers are MME Lime Twist. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, sentiment is Whimsy Stamps  and the cardstock is SU!.

Don't faint! Two cards in two days....

I managed a card on my day off yesterday, YIPPEE!! This is for a friend who turns 40 this month.  Bit of a squint photo, apologies for that.  The image is another Saturated Canary one, I am addicted I think. The beautiful papers are new ones I got and I lurves them! Sentiment is Stampin' Up! and the image has been coloured with  Flexmarkers and Promarkers. The layout was a sketch challenge I found but I cannot remember which one it was doh!

First card this week!!

Why do I have to go to work? Why does the housework need to be done? These things stop me from having fun crafting, so not fair!
Anyway, I managed to squeeze in this card

The image is yet again a Saturated Canary one, this is Glinda, isn't she pretty? I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, so need to practice those pleats. The gorgoeus papers are Bo Bunny, roses and lace are from WOC.The sentiment is Stampin' Up!

My first WOW card

I always admire White on White cards but have never tried them myself. However I am really pleased with how this turned out. The only colour is the image and then I have inked the edges of everything with some pink.

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Flippin Heck!! Record temperatures last week and then this morning I opened my door to this!

It is still snowing on and off, hoping it magically disappears overnight. Perfect weather to stay in and craft though.
Here is my latest colouring attempt. I spent ages on her hair but am pleased with how it turned out.

Yep another card comes crawling along!!

I feel like I hardly ever have time to craft these days - perhaps less time in blogland and on Facebook might afford me a few more hours lol! I might have a wee break so if you don't see me commenting on your blogs for a week or so you will know that's what I am doing. Anyway, I coloured this beauty up over a week ago. She is from Saturated Canary, I am totally in awe of Krista's talent.

Two cards in one week!!!

Yes indeed I have managed to make the staggering amount of two cards, why do I never seem to have crafty time these days. Anyway, I used another fabulous Saturated Canary image

She is coloured with Pro/Flexmarkers and I was trying a new colour combo for the hair but picked up the wrong colour by mistake (oops) so had to improvise. Don't suppose it turned out too bad. The papers are MME, corner and roses WOC and the sentiment is Stampin' Up!.

The first of 2012

Hurrah I have made a card!! I decided to attempt colouring an image just using greys. I have seen a few of my blogging buddies do this and really like the effect. This sweetie is from Saturated Canary, I love Krista's images.  The papers are from a Joanna Sheen CD I have and I coloured the lace and the edges of the papers with Distress Ink.
